The Holga 120N is equipped with a 60mm f/8 plastic lens, which results in unique, lo-fi photos. The aperture setting allows you to choose between two options: f/8 (cloudy weather) and f/11 (sunny day). The camera has a 1/100 sec shutter speed and a Bulb mode for long exposure photography. Focusing is done using zone focus, with a focal length starting at 0.9 meters.

The camera supports 120 wide film and comes with 6 × 6 cm and 6 × 4.5 cm film masks, which can take 12 or 16 frames from a single roll of film, respectively. The film is advanced manually using the top rewind handle, and the progress of the frames is monitored through the rear red window.
